Fallaughns Haven
Some Havens can be considered hidden treasures, through view or resources. Others, however, are merely hidden. That would be the case with Fallaughns Haven, situated somewhat between the Coernix Station and the Cauthess rest area. Certainly, it is not an easy location to spot, even with the glow of runes that normally act as a beacon for what it seems like this very purpose. Situated some distance away from the road whether one is going between rest stations or daring to cast a curious glance at Perpetuous Keep, it is hidden surprisingly well amidst the various trees which line the craterous hillsides of Fauscherry Plains.
In truth, it is somewhat easier to locate if one is traversing the footpaths leading from Saxham Outpost or a small easily missable path going off the road by the Mencemoor road sign going east, its location given away by a much more easily identifiable radio tower whose shine stands out amidst the trees.
Very likely, it is wanderers from Saxham who are most likely to stumble upon Fallaughns, having wandered a little too far from the outpost's trove of Eos green peas. All it takes is some minor curiosity, and a simple five minute hike becomes an hour's trip. This is especially true considering that the hills throughout Duscae are the favored hunting territories of lone coeurl. The good news is that, as with most predatory beasts, they will not expend too much energy to pursue a random human wandering a little too close. The bad news is that one will still have to make a hasty escape, especially considering the terrifying speed with the coeurl are known for, until they are out of that particular coeurl's territory.
No one would be surprised to hear that some unfortunate traveler ended up a good hour away, just because they had to escape an agitated coeurl. Yet unless one has truly pressing business, no doubt they will prefer a few far away from imperial forts or their unappealing blockades, and instead take a simple rest at thte Coernix Station.
Yet for those who do end up in a situation... They should at least enjoy a halfway decent meal while they are there. No doubt the reason for the local coeurl population to thrive, there are often small herds of Garula only around the wall by Fallaughns. With some Cleigne wheet on hand and sirloin in the other, one can enjoy a greas monkey schnitzel sandwich. It may be a bit of a relief to chew on, after whatever adventure has lead them to Fallaughns.

fishfearme: don't worry about the constant tornadoes happening in there. just don't go looking either. ★✩✩✩✩
chocobro: I HATE COEURL ★✩✩✩✩
womenwantme: Listen, Fallaughns only has nothing for you if you're thinking purely what you're going to get out of it in material terms. If you want to test your mettle, make it past some coeurl, and explore pure rugged wilderness, this place will do you just fine. ★★★✩✩
