Digythe Haven
It is a testament to the longevity and reliability of Havens that there are very often entire paths revolving around their existence, dirt pressed down by an untold number of feet from travelers throughout the ages as they've found a safe respite to weather out the night. Travel down the Nebulawood highway and you need only come to a stop perhaps ten minutes away from the Alstor Coernix Station to see this in full effect around Digythe Haven.
Truly, it makes the walk down to the Haven a rather comfortable one where you are perfectly free to admire the view of numerous trees decorating the hillside, welcoming you into a different little world where the waters of the Slough glimmer just past their branches. Unlike some other Havens, there are no true obstacles which lay in the path from the road to its safety. The most one has to be concerned about would be the voretooth lurking in the nearby Nebulawoods, and yet they do not often leap upon this particular path in my own personal experience. That is a risk which is only incurred should one venture out into the woods themselves, out onto the hiking trails, or near the water's edge.
This obviously may still have the attention of adventurous travelers, for no poor reason. The forest surrounding the Nebulawoods is undoubtedly beautiful, all the moreso when you can spy the Alstor Slough just past the trunks. It is not uncommon for particularly athletic sorts to actually take the paths which encircle the Slough to go on a little day trip from Pullmoor to Digythe. Those such individuals will no doubt be prepared for the voretooth packs which are not an uncommon sight in Duscae and which might harass them on such a journey. As a matter of fact, they may even take advantage of the local garula population, who get quite aggravated about the beasts and so offer an excellent deterrent if one is clever about it all.
It is not unreasonable, then, to suggest such wanderers take advantage of the plentiful beetroot crops which tend to appear not too far north, where slough and wood begin to merge into one another, or even venture down into the forest not too far from Digythe to procur some fine samples of alstrooms.
A word of warning, however: Digythe is quite close to the area from which Nebulawood gains its infamous nickname. If I could avoid informing the average reader of the small hole which leads into the remains of this long abandoned military base, then I would do so, for it is not a place in which anyone should play in so recklessly. However, my hands are somewhat tied on this front, for there is a path right below Digythe that leads straight there. All I will say is that the mist which chokes that place is a formiddable foe far worse than any Behemoth.
...Behemoths, it should be noted, which are more than glad to sniff out an empty space that has been left behind by the notorious and now deceased Deadeye, so do not test your luck.
Rather, test your culinary skill with the alstrooms which have been gathered to make a delicious risotto. I fully expect my readers to know better than to attempt mimicry of those chefs they may witness on reality television. A good risotto takes time, and a triple truffle risotto is no exception with the use of funguar and alstroom combined together with saxham rice. Still, best to use that time perfecting your risotto rather than breaking your leg stumbling over a concrete ledge in the fog.

fishfearme: ok so tbh you could probably make your wy over to the neeglyss pond from digythe it's not like it's the worst trek in the world???? but ausace is WAY closer if you're going around here for fishing so you might as well just go stay at ausace bc you'll just stay there anyway to get a head start on fishing in the morning. ★★✩✩✩
chocobro: sooooooooooooooooo r we all just gonna ignore the terrifying wailing and weird noises that come outta nebulawood the entire time ur staying in digythe or likee what ★★✩✩✩
womenwantme: If you look at this as a part of the Slough Triad run, then Digythe plays a pretty decent role in the whole thing. It's just far enough from Pullmor and Ausace to be a nice little challenge of a run, and close to the road just like Pullmoor so that if you ever feel like it's gotten to be too much, you'll have the road to run away to if you really think you're not cut for the last part of the lap. Still, it's not entirely my favorite Haven, even out of the three. ★★★✩✩
