Lambath Haven
The Ravatogh Trail is not a particularly welcoming place at first glance. Most native to Duscae and some of the more verdant areas of Cleigne may in fact find it almost alien, although Leide locals may actually find it almost homey. Dark dirt home to only shrubs, enormous outcroppings of rocks and cliffs which tower up high over it all... Indeed, despite the distance, there is a great similarity with such a place and somewhere such as the Three Valleys.
Similar to many a location in Leide, however, most prefer not to linger too long if they can get away with it. They would rather drive on through, straight to the main attraction which is The Rock of Ravatogh. I understand the urge. There is a reason why the Rock draws tourists from all over so consistently, no matter the year, leading to people admiring the hot springs or delighting in the fascinating view.
Still, if one thinks that the only reason to visit this area is the Rock or its hot springs, then I implore you to reconsider.
After all, much like with the many paths of Leide, the Trail itself is full of unique bits of nature which should not be dismissed merely because they are not lush greenery. Indeed, while it is an area lacking in the natural blessings of easy harvests or even any creatures which can be made into a fine meal, even I found a sort of serenity as I looked out over the rocks or strode along the paths which had withstood the shifting of dark sands.
More than that, romantics may also have a vested interest in not only traversing the Trail (potentially with a loved one), but ensuring that they stay the night in Lambath's steadfast embrace. You see, there is a particular flower which grows only on the Ravatogh Trail. Not only that, but this is no mere daisy which you can pluck up whenever you please. Rather, these particular flowers only bloom during the extremely particular rays of first dawn, but for a while. Their soft and dusky pink petals have made names for themselves in quite a few amateur poems throughout the Cleigne area, along with certain makeup brands, and it is easy to see why. Certainly, if one wishes to show some affection for a certain someone, then fetching one such volcanic bouquet will show the depth of your feelings more than well enough. Even if they are not won over by the flower itself, knowing the effort you put in scrambling over the rocks will leave an impression on their heart.
In fact, I myself found one such flower slipped into the back pocket of my own pants, while I was making breakfast for the morn... and it would be amiss of me to say that there was no affect. Perhaps it could be said that, for all its appearances, Lambath may be for the lovers more than anything else.
I mentioned earlier that there are no easily gathered resources in the area surrounding Lambath on the Ravatogh Trail and over by the nearby Pike. That means you will have to prepare your resources ahead of time if you wish to camp here. In that case, I suggest going all out with a prime garula rib. Garulessa steak is truly an incredible piece of meat, slightly sweeter than many other red meats and thick with fat that ensures it melts on your tongue. In truth, it is not my favored way to prepare garulessa steak, even if this is by no means a wrong way to do so with only a bit of garlic required for flavor.
Still. Sometimes, no matter your preferred favorite, the alternative ends up tasting so much finer.

fishfearme: a friend had me pick a flower for his sister here and there are seriously too many rocks. how do flowers even know when it's dawn? i think they get in weird places too. ★★✩✩✩
chocobro: u kno its kinda incheresting bc u would think "oh its all sand and rock so i could jusst go to leide" but the dark sand really makes it different???? is that bc of the rokk? ★★★✩✩
womenwantme: Sometimes, you honestly just need to get right down there in the dirt and remember why you got the callouses on your hand. I think if you're aiming to climb up to the Rock yourself in the future, scrambling around in the Trail isn't a bad way to get used to it all. You're not going to get that full blast of heat which comes with climbing into an active volcano, but the Ravatogh Trail area is still pretty humid thanks to all the hot springs and the natural heat boiling up from that black sand. Add in climbing over rocks and sliding down sandy hills, and you'll have learned how to work up a good sweat. Not to mention, I can confirm that there are quite a few people who can appreciate a little volcanic bouquet. ★★★★✩
